Chicago is where I feel like this is my second home. As being an Aupair for 2 years, I also had the best friend name Ann. We gained a lot of great experiences of living in the United State by traveling and having fun together. Since this song "Home coming" by Kenya west was just come out, we were at the millennium park on Michigan street taking a photo, we heard this song from the restaurant and we both like its sound. However, at first we couldn't understand well what in this song, then we came back home and find out, listen and listen again many times until this song became our favorite song at that time. I also thought about coming back Chicago again when I finished my Au Pair program. Now I just had a chance to come back here again as an internal student in Harold Washington. This song remind me of coming back home again as its song name and it also remind me of Ann, my close friend.
Yea It's nice to have a song that remind you for Chicago. I have to choose some, too. :)

You are funny!!! I feel like that for at least 6 different countries that I've been... It is such a good feeling, isn't it?? I like Kanye West a lot and if one day I go back home I am sure singers like him will remind me the U.S... =)
ReplyDeleteI also love Chicago. I consider it my second home as well. Kanye West is one of my favorite hip-hop artists. You are the only one in class without the Follow button on your site. It would be nice if you had it. It makes it easier to follow everyone in class from your blogger dashboard.

I don't want to spoil thsi blog post; however, for this blog assignment, I would like to see writing that is a real SPECIFIC memory not a short comment ABOUT something. As is, you are using the song to describe a general feeling, but the assignment calls for a SPECIFIC memory tied to a song.
